By accessing and using FauxLens ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

FauxLens provides AI-based media analysis services on a credit basis. The Service analyzes uploaded images and videos to detect potential signs of AI generation or digital manipulation. Analysis results are probabilistic in nature and are not guaranteed to be accurate.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties & Accuracy

The results provided by FauxLens are probabilistic estimates generated by artificial intelligence. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy. The Service may produce "false positives" (identifying authentic media as AI-generated) or "false negatives" (failing to detect AI-generated media). FauxLens findings should be used as a supportive data point, not as definitive forensic proof or legal evidence.

You agree that FauxLens is not liable for any reputational damage, financial loss, or legal consequences resulting from your use of, or reliance on, these analysis results.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, abusive, harmful, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any individual.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service.
• Use the Service to facilitate fraud or circumvent platform detection systems.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts found in violation of this policy without refund.

5. Credits & Payments

Access to analysis features requires credits, which may be purchased through the Service. Credits are non-transferable. Payment processing is handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases. By purchasing credits, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service.

6. Refund Policy

• Unused Credits: If you have purchased a credit pack and have not used any credits, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the original purchase date.
• Used Credits: Once a credit has been used to perform an analysis, it is considered consumed and is non-refundable regardless of the analysis result.
• How to Request: Email [email protected] with your transaction ID to initiate a refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and technology associated with the FauxLens brand and Service are owned by Faux Lens AI. You retain all rights to any media you upload. By uploading media, you grant FauxLens a limited, transient license solely to process that media for the purpose of delivering the requested analysis.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FauxLens and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
